Regent’s Park – Broad Walk and Avenue Gardens
Regent’s Park is a good size. Like most parks in London, and those done properly they have separately designed areas… like rooms. Queen Mary’s Garden, The Duck Pond, The Broad Walk through the length of it, the Avenue Garden. I love walking through this park and I have my favorite spots already. I thought I would post some pictures I have taken. There are so many and I want to show all of them so I’ve decided to dedicate a few posts to Regent’s Park. So this being the first, I’m gonna take you for a stroll down Broad Walk and through the Avenue Gardens.
This is a Chinese Restaurant … and a boat on the canal. I don’t know if it’s mobile but I think I should find out.
The canal is nice and runs the length of the north border of the park. The London Zoo is peaking up in the background.
Crossing over the bridge to start on the Broad Walk
When the sun comes out in London I think the grounds keepers rush to their storage sheds to get paint. All of the benches and trash containers were wet with green paint.
I loved the wet paint sign… in multiple languages… surely you get the gist.
There seems to always be guys practicing rugby in the open spaces. This little guy was one of the team’s mascot I guess… I wonder if his name is Waldo. He proceeded to roam the park, as most dogs do and leave his mark on everything he could.
This is strolling through the Avenue Gardens. Lovely and peaceful.
These folks weren’t concerned with smooshing these flowers they just wanted to be surrounded by them.
Cherry blossoms put you in a peaceful mood no matter what you’re going through I think.
There is so much more to this park. I can’t wait to share even more pics.
